Program Days
Your journey begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech at approximately 8:00 AM. You’ll travel by private vehicle through the scenic foothills of the High Atlas Mountains to the village of Imlil (1740m), the starting point of your hike. Upon arrival, meet your local mountain guide and begin your ascent toward the Tizi Mzik Pass, located at around 2684 meters. The hike takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, passing through juniper forests, terraced fields, and offering sweeping views of the Imlil Valley and surrounding peaks, including glimpses of Mount Toubkal on clear days. Once at the top, take time to rest and enjoy the spectacular panorama before descending back along a different trail. A traditional Berber picnic lunch will be provided either at the pass or on the descent, depending on timing and weather. After lunch, you’ll continue down to Imlil, where you can relax before heading back to Marrakech. Arrival in the city is expected by around 6:30 PM. This excursion includes round-trip transport, a qualified guide, lunch, and bottled water.
